Puffing smoke as it rolls through West Portal, NJ is Lehigh Valley 4-8-4 "Wyoming" (LV's name for Northerns) #5202. Built by ALCo-Schenectady in April of 1932 (serial #68611, class T-2a), the loco barely served 19 years before being scrapped in January of 1951 when the diesels hit the roster. Specs - 70" cylinders, 255 psi boiler pressure, 26x32" cylinders, engine weight of 424,000 lb, tractive effort of 66,700 lb.
