Pickens Railroad Baldwin RP-210H #20 "Xplorer" (ex-NYC)         
Digital image from Kim E. Piersol original 126 transparency. On Greenville & Northern. James F. Jones "Jones Tours" purchased the entire train in 1960 to run "land cruise" excursion service over the tracks of other railroads. Scrapped around 1970. I took this photo when I was a student at Furman University in Greenville.

Robyn Watkins General This was on the Greenville & Northern north of Travelers Rest to Cleveland, South Carolina. After the G&N quit operating the line north of Traveler's Rest, a tourist railroad, the Swamp Rabbit Railroad, operated this section of the G&N until it shut down in the late 60s. 9/25/2011 11:19:25 PM
