| Built by ALCO-Schenectady in October of 1913, this powerful 4-8-2 Mountain type locomotive was an excellent dual-serivce locomotibe for fast passenger as well as freight service. The loco was rebuilt one in its lifetime with an increase of boiler pressure from 200 to 230 psi and an engine weight up by 10,000 lb to 376,500 lb that increased the tractive effort significantly from 51,121 lb to 61,824 lb. After nearly 34 years of service, the loco was retired and scrapped in February of 1960. Rebuilt specs - 73" drivers, impressive 230 psi boiler pressure, 28x28" cylinders, engine weight of 376,500 lg, tractive effort of 61,824 lb.
