AHC. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide (converted to B&W) of a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken at the Horseshoe Curve near Altoona, Pennsylvania, in 1939. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6710, an M-1A (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during April of 1930 and retired in September of 1952 after 22 years of faithful service.
