Randy Curlin General One effect of the new SP under DRGW was to use less headend power and rely on helpers to boost tonnage. Eastbound (north) trains out of Roseville would struggle between Red Bluff and Redding (Hooker Hill) and limp into Lakehead to get a mid train helper. Previously each train would use 4-5 units and use a single unit helper from Dunsmuir 2/11/2024 3:33:41 PM
