3.15.2024 Afton, VA. CSX 3247 leading an empty coal train up to the crest of the Blue Ridge at Afton. Rain had just begun to fall. The 4 locomotives were at Notch 8 and throwing down sand to maintain a grip on sthe slippery rails.
