The Conrail GP20 was common in Cinci. They ran yard transfers between CR's Sharonville yard and the L&N Decoursey yard across the river in KY

I doubt the Dash 7 and GP20 made it to the 1999 Conrail split, so they weren't really all in the family......but who cares?

Sweet shot, Good eye for power! The C30s made it all the uo 05 when CSX started to retire them. The CR GP20s ex NYC where long gone. They were still some on CR property in the late 90s but they were retired and stored.

The only thing in this shot still around on a class one is the 3rd unit in the Family Lines lash up to the right, The SD40-2.

4 years and 10 months to the CSX marriage. 15 years before CR would join the union. Those colors are truly all family now. Great catch.
