PRR 3554, H-9S, 1948         
Here is a photo by William E. Grant that was taken in Wilmington, Delaware, on 9 May 1948. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3554, an H-9S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built in Juniata as H-8B number "6605" during November of 1911, renumbered "3354" in 1913, rebuilt as an H-9S in February of 1917, and retired in September of 1949 after 38 years of faithful service. Partly visible at the far left is an unidentified GG-1 electric. Gary Mittner Collection.
