N&W 2524
N&W 2524 looks fairly benign here as she leads a pair of Alco RS11s with a southbound train of autoparts on the Sandusky district. Fourteen years earlier, however, she was delivered as NKP 524, part of a 20 unit order of GP9s that killed off the last of the great Nickel Plate Berkshires. Date approximate.

Fred Stuckmann General N&W had some cool stuff. RS11s just weren't that common around here. Thanks. 6/28/2009 9:27:04 PM
