Northbound BNSF Empty Ore Train
Headed north up the River Sub. was BNSF Train U BIRSEM0 57 on the Old Frisco with the New Madrid Power Plant Smoke Stack in the background. It was a great day to watch BNSF power tugging an empty through the bootheel while blowing a few more emissions into the blue sky. Global Warming doesn't exist, so get over it folks.

David Mead General I like the way you have looked for a composition in what seems to be an entirley flat landscape - (I have the impressions that your state is miles of uninterrupted plains). You have used the Crossing sign to an advantage to offer the viewer an alternative point of interest and the eye then picks up the double-headed yellow/orange of the nicely cleaned paired locos. Interestingly you have included the chimney and I am pleased you shot it before the train blocked it, as you would have then had it protruding over the train, also very good in detailing what it is in the text, as people like me overseas havent a clue what it was - thanks for sharing. 4/9/2007 3:50:56 AM
