The smokestack is at the former Western State Hospital (later Staunton Correctional Center) power plant - once I was perfectly set up to photograph and BB freight by it, and it turned out to be an interchange with the SVRR! Staunton has some photogenic spots for trains, but the lack of traffic is frustrating.
