David Zachmeyer General In August of 1972 the BN 503 was assigned to the B&W (Burlington to Washington) line. The line usesd Rock Island track from Burlington to Mediapolis, Iowa then transferred to BN track to Washington, Iowa.I was on the crew the day we hit a truck in Mediapolis in front of the Rock Island Depot.
