| Here's 1 of the 2 Unpatched SP SD40T-2's still on the UP Active Roster, albeit not currently operating. It is seen here in the Burnham Shops Deadline. SP 8293 was removed from service at South Morrill, NE on 11-8-04 due to an engine failure. It was stored at Progress Rail in South Morrill until being moved to North Platte, NE on 10-8-05, then here at Burnham. It was finally formally retired on 1-21-08. |
