Here is a photo via Joseph Lavelle of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #940, an A-2A (0-4-0T) switcher built in the Altoona Machine Shops as an A-2 (0-4-0) during July of 1892, rebuilt as an A-2A (0-4-0T) in September of 1897, renumbered "0940" in 1910, and retired in July of 1915 after 23 years of faithful service. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. Williams Collection. |
