Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9718 and two more "Shark" units whose numbers are not recorded. #9718 is a BF-16 built by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton in March of 1951 and retired in July of 1966 after just 15 years of revenue service. This A-B-A set has just passed Marysville and is about to cross the Susquehanna River via the Rockville Bridge. ("Stoneborobranch"; #38 of 56) |
