Description:  The lead loco was the pride of the Potomac Eagle Scenic Rail - C&O F7A #8016 built by EMD in December of 1948 as Clinchfield F3A #800. It passed through the SBD, CSX, and SBVR rosters before landing the starring role on the Potomac Eagle Scenic train.

Title:  Potomac Eagle Scenic Rail Excursion
Description:  Face to face with the brightly painted F3A, it is an impressive sight. This F3A has been painted in the traditional Chesapeake & Ohio blue and yellow paint scheme for its role in the Potomac Eagle Scenic Rail Excursions. Although never on the official roster of the C&O, it nevertheless represents the line beautifully as it heads the scenic train rides.
