GP40 quartet
Title:  GP40 quartet
Description:  The formation of the Seaboard System in the early '80s led to an influx of 'off line' power on the former L&N as units from the SCL and Georgia Group started making frequent appearances into places like Pensacola. Here A&WP 731 leads a trio of SCL GP40s (1509, 1525, 1633) an an eastbound out of Goulding Yard in Feb 1983. 731 is 13 years old as of this picture; it would subsequently become SBD and CSXT 6651 and is reported as being off the roster and scrapped.
