Description:  Here is the front cover of the Pennsylvania Railroad's 31-page "Ninety-Ninth Annual Report." It was issued originally on 13 February 1946. Cover art painted by Mr. Frank Reilly. Depicted at the top (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #5900, #5500, #6195, and #4904. #5900 is an EP-20 built by GM-EMD in September of 1945 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. #5500 is a T-1 (4-4-4-4) "Duplex" built in Juniata during November of 1945 and retired in December of 1953. #6195 is a Q-2 (4-4-6-4) built in Juniata during June of 1945 and retired in January of 1956. #4904 is a GG-1 built in Juniata during May of 1940. Depicted at the bottom (L to R) are three vintage steam locomotives: 1831, 1864, and 1902. The one representing 1831 is the Camden & Amboy's "John Bull."

Description:  Extra Board. Here is an original photo that I took at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC, in December of 1971. Shown here is the Camden & Amboy's "John Bull." This is the original 2-4-0 wood-burning steam locomotive that was built in England around 1830, disassembled and sent across the Atlantic Ocean on a wood-hulled ship with sails, and then reassembled for revenue service in New Jersey.
