Here is page seven of a 40-page booklet published by Harry P. Albrecht entitled "A Picture Study Of The K-4." First issued in October 1967, revised in September 1976. Partial Caption: "Engine 295 in the Alleghenies, June 1920." Pennsylvania Railroad engine #295 is a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during May of 1918 and retired in May of 1956 after 38 years of faithful service. |
