A proud crew poses with this good looking 4-8-2 mountain type steam engine built by Alco-Brooks in January of 1923 (serial #63769, MT-1 class). The loco was leased to the LA&SL subsidiary for passenger service between Los Angles and Salt Lake City. It served for nearly 34 years before retirement in March of 1956.
