Built by Baldwin & Company in September of 1898 as Chcago, Milwaukee & St Paul Vauclain compound 4-6-0 ten wheeler #868, it changed many times - renumbered 4/1899 to CMStP #237, renumbered in 4/1905 to CMStP #875, renumbered in 9/1912 to SMStP #4122, simplified & renumbered in 11/1925 to CMStP #2381, renumbered in 9/1938 to CMStP&P #1170. After nearly 53 years of service, the loco was scrapped in March of 1951. No photographer was listed for the photo. |
