This Milwaukee Road 2-8-2 Mikdao appears to be sitting in a storage (scrap?) line as some unidentified location. Bjuilt by Baldwin in September of 1922 as MILW #8313, it was later renumbered MILW 413 in June of 1938. The loco was sent to the scrapper's torch after nearly 30 years of service in June of .1952 Specs - class L-2b, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 26x30" cylinders, engine wt of 292,770 lb, tractive effort of 54,723 lb. No date, location or photographer was listed for the photo so "guesstimates" were used. |
