By:
Gary Everhart
Dates:
1/1/1940 - 12/31/1954
Album Info:
Nice group of images from 8x10" b&w photos of Baltimore & Ohio's 2-10-2 Santa Fe type steam locomotives. None of the photos had any information (date, location, photographer) but I did track down (pun intended) a few of the photos from online sources.

BO 2-10-2 #6184 - Baltimore & Ohio
Description:
Here's a fairly good looking and powerful member of the B&O roster, B&O 2-10-2 #6154. The loco was built by the Lima Locomotive Works in June of 1926 as part of the third round of 2-10-2's ordered for the B&O. The large tractive effort generated by the locomotive (84,300 lb) proved to be very handy in the Allegheny mountains. Unfortunately after nearly 29 years of service, the loco met the scrapper's torch in 1953. Specs - S-1a class, 64" drivers, 220 psi boiler pressure, 30x32" cylinders, engine weight of 436,510 lb, tractive effort of 84,300 lb. No date, location or photographer was listed for this photo.
