Southern Railway 2-8-4 #2716, after having its tender loaded with coal, its water tank topped off, its running gear inspected and lubricated, now slowly backs around the wye. During this lull, the crew can tend to their personal needs, as evidenced by the fireman riding the top of the coal tender and enjoying a box lunch
