4th Street. Here is an original telephoto view that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 11 September 1965. Shown here is PRR engine #2416 and two other units whose numbers are not recorded. #2416 is an AF-25 built by the American Locomotive Company in 1964 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. They are idling-away, waiting for a new crew to drive them up the Allegheny Mountains to Gallitzin and points West. Two PRR passenger cars await reconditioning on the other side of the mainline.
