| 4th Street. Here is an original telephoto view that I took of Pennsylvania Railroad trains in Altoona, Pennsylvania, during April of 1966. Shown here are ten freight trains parked in the Altoona Yards, all awaiting crews and/or locomotives so that they can begin climbing the Allegheny Mountains via the Horseshoe Curve to Gallitzin and points West.
