The old railroad depot at Cheyney now serves the community as a branch of the US Postal Service. The station was constructed in 1900 by the Philadelphia Wilmington & Baltimore Railroad to serve passengers from this small community, later becoming part of the Pennsylvania Railroad system. After many years of seeing trains of electric MP-54 MU cars in both Tuscan red and PC green, the station now has the passage of WCRL excursion runs with their consist of former RDG Blueliner MUs. |
