| Missouri Pacific 2242 was originally Rock Island 4308, and some traces of its original blue color were bleeding through the MP paint. This was one of 52 former Rock Island GP38-2's (4300-4351) acquired by the MoP after The Rock went bankrupt and were renumbered MP 2238-2289. The geep was tied up at the yard in Alexandria, Louisiana. |
