Built by Alco-Brooks in October of 1912 as CM&StP #8108 (serial #52181), it was renumbered CMStP&P 706 in 1938. The loco lasted on the active roster until February of 1954. The photo has it sitting in the scrap line with its bell gone and awaiting the scrapper's torch.
